Mark and Tony Pendreich established The Valley Cellar Door, Moonee Ponds in 2005.

The Melbourne Cellar Door, South Wharf is their fourth hospitality venture. They opened the doors in March 2018 as wine bar and function venue.

Early 2023 they set up the Dukes Distillery and the gin & vodka bar in the space that was once the barrel room of The Melbourne Cellar Door. Specialising in small batch gin, vodka and vermouths.
